Oh, Jesus. I was absolutely bawling by this point of the film.
This movie was honestly one of the best I’ve ever seen. The trailers are misleading; it’s not just about a boy and his ragtag group of friends having fun fighting zombies, it’s about finding the strength to end the cycle of abuse. It’s about learning that it’s okay to trust others and go to them for help when you need it. It’s about knowing that it’s okay to be afraid, but that fear is never an excuse for being cruel or inhuman. I wish more people knew about it.
